A cultural exchange program facilitates the exchange of individuals or groups between different countries or cultures to promote mutual understanding, appreciation, and learning. The goals of cultural exchange programs include fostering cross-cultural understanding, promoting global citizenship, and developing interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity. Participants can learn about a different culture firsthand, gain language skills, broaden their perspectives, and develop lifelong friendships and connections.

Cultural exchange programs in schools can greatly enrich students’ educational experience, broaden their perspectives, and foster a sense of global citizenship. These programs encourage open-mindedness, tolerance, and appreciation for diversity, preparing students to navigate an increasingly interconnected world.
